Labfacility XE-3299-001 500mm Inconel 600 K Type MI Thermocouple Pot & Tails

A K type flexible, mineral insulated thermocouple with a 500mm long probe that has a 0.5mm diameter for fast response. The thermocouple has an Inconel Alloy 600 sheath that has an M8 x 1mm fine pitch threaded pot seal and tail. The single element junction is insulated from the sheath, giving protections against spurious signals. Termination is by 100mm long PFA twin-twisted 7/0.2mm tails.

The sheath is manufactured from Inconel Alloy 600 and has excellent oxidation resistance up to 1100°C (not suitable for sulphur bearing atmospheres above 550°C). Typical applications include heat treatment processes, annealing furnaces, chemical reactors, man-made fibre and synthetic material production, steam boilers, paper industry, etc.
