The VDV II is a cable tester that is simple to use and can effectively check the integrity of those copper cables commonly found in domestic commercial and industrial installations. The tester is able to verify voice, data, video cables and telephone wiring and employs state-of-the-art technology to provide the functionality of an advanced wiremapper that will accurately display complex wiring faults, aiding troubleshooting and improving on-site productivity.

The VDV II Pro has all the features of the VDV II Plus as well as distance to open/short, PoE detection with voltage information, media service detection, Ethernet detection with network rate and duplex information.
