This is a Hameg HZ109 Differential probe 1:1 (30MHz), 10:1 (40MHz)
In the case of measurements on power supplies, thyristors and power MOS-Fets,
the high input resistance of >2MO of the differential probe is very
advantageous, as it causes a very high resistance separation from the probe
output. In combination with a Safety Class I oscilloscope which is galvanically
connected to protective earth (PE), the resistance between the differential
inputs exceeds 2MO with respect to earth. This prevents galvanic hum, which
appears if both the unit under test and the measuring input have different earth
connections.
