This microscope has adjustable magnification of 10 to 90x and comes from the ProX series of USB digital microscopes from Dino-Lite. The 1.3 megapixel high resolution instrument is ideal for use in 'professional' environments such as forensics, metallurgy, printing and textiles, as well as being suitable for other science, industry and educational applications that have high demands on durability and reliability.
A long working distance gives the user the ability to work in or around the object whilst the microscope is in situ, ideal for precision assembly/repair tasks. An aluminium body gives increased protection and a longer working life as well as having a good look and feel. This model has a built-in polariser that improves viewability of objects with shiny surfaces and 8x White LEDs are used to illuminate the object, giving a high quality and detailed image.
Output from the microscope can be in the form of images, video or time-lapsed video and the included software enables a comprehensive set of measurement and calibration functions to be performed. A set of software, compatible with Windows or Mac OS, is provided that gives the ability to save images and videos, make time lapse recordings and perform calibrated measurements.
