Excellent value and very nicely made; all plastic but plugs go in very positively. I have one fixedunder my home office desk, running three monitors, a PC, a laptop and sundry smaller items and one behind the TV cabinet for the plasma screen, consoles and TV decoder.
As another reviewer commented it's not obvious how to mount these under a desk; I used the supplied tab fitting at one end, and a screw backed out about 8mm at the other end where there's a little notch in the bracket. Not sure how to get it back off, mind...
Neat Power Distribution Socket Strips

I bought these longer power distribution boards as I was fed up with so many short ones cluttering up the place. They are very good value, with the longer ones have two isolating switches, great for people like me who don't like leaving portable unit chargers switched on all of the time. I fixed mine on underneath surface of my workbench so that I can plug things in out of the way of the work surface. Curiously, the hanging up tab reverses for use as a fixing point at one end, but there isn't one for the other end - so how do you fix these strips permanently down? Luckily I bought two strips so I nicked one from the other one. The tube is worryingly flexible, but stable once in position. Nice to see Made in Germany, instead of ROC. Plan to buy some more of these.
Unmatched quality power distribution for AV system

Let me start by stating I am no fan of multiple extension leads, two and three way socket adaptors and multiway trailing sockets. Unfortunately though in our modern life we are surrounded by electrical technology, each requiring its own 13A power socket. Many devices now come with plug in transformers or power supplies, these can get very warm so I wanted a safer way to organise the spaghetti mess of wiring behind my home theatre and TV set up, as well as a small home studio. This Brennenstuhl premium extension socket eliminates several previous extension leads and, unlike alternatives, allows me to rest it on the floor as a single row of neatly labelled and organised plugs. This product is really good quality, solid construction and has the advantage of switches to isolate sections or all of the lead. It's about 1m long and of course you need to be sensible that you don't overload it as with any extension lead! Most devices these days though draw miniscule current from their power supplies and for me this fitted the job perfectly. Combined with fantastic price and amazingly efficient service from Rapid electronics need I say more! Loved it so much I bought another one.
