A 230V mains powered 25W lead-free soldering iron with a fitted UK 13A mains plug.
Highly respected by both industrial users and hobbyists alike, Antex soldering irons have become one of today's classic soldering tools. It is a tribute to the simple, yet highly effective basic design of the XS25W miniature electric soldering iron that it has changed little over the years.
- Fitted UK 13A mains plug
- Heat resistant silicone cable
- Long life soldering tip for lead-free solder
- Inner ceramic shaft provides near-perfect insulation with virtually no leakage (3 to 5µA)
- Outer stainless steel shaft for strength
- Bits are held on the element shaft by an internal spring clip and simply slide on or off for changing
- Supplied complete with 2.3mm bit and mains cable
- A slide-on hanging hook for the iron is available separately

Easy to replace. Good value. less waste for the land fill and my favorite iron was working again.

Great product. Heats up quickly and the design of the bit going around the heating element means maximum heat transfer into the bit. Plenty of alternative bits and replacement parts are available (such as replacement electrical leads) so it will have a long service life.

For a few weeks now i have been searching for a decent soldering iron. In my college we use Antex Soldering irons and could not find a great price elsewhere. Came to Rapid and saw that this soldering iron comes in many different types. I thought i would take a gamble with the PVC cable soldering iron. This product is very good compared to the price, plus it does the job well. There may be better soldering irons out on the market, but to me i would recommend this soldering iron to anyone!
