ABUS FU9020 Privest Pet Immune Wireless Motion Detector

The ABUS FU9020 Privest Pet Immune Wireless Motion Detector is an extension module of the Privest Wireless Alarm Panel. It is a passive infrared (PIR) motion detector which detects moving body heat and reports it to the alarm control panel.

The ideal place for installation of the Privest Pet Immune Wireless Motion Detector is directly at the wall, up to 3m above the floor, in one of the room's corners. Any place that is exposed to a heat source (e.g. radiator) or a window is not suitable for installation. Likewise, do not install your motion detector in the immediate vicinity of power cables, gas lines, or electronic devices, which generate heat when operated for long periods. A fax machine, for example, can generate heat in your absence and trigger a PIR motion detector.

The viewing angle of the Privest Pet Immune Wireless Motion Detector is 90°, its detection range is up to 12m, depending on the elevation at which it is installed. Animals weighting up to 30kg are ignored by the detector. Despite the words "pet immune to 30kg", it is possible that animals with a lower weight trigger the detector. The risk of false triggering is particularly high when the animal is moving, jumping or flying, in the vicinity of the detector.
