23 April 2013 Question by: Robert | Product code: 75-0061
Q. Are there any switches the same as this that are not momentary action switches, and that are suitable for 12v DC? Thank-you.
A. Hi Robert. Thank you for your question. You could look at using 75-0058 as this is just a ON ON latching version this does not have a centre off position. The other option is 75-0094.

20 April 2013 Question by: Robert | Product code: 75-0061
Q. Is this suitable for use with a 12 volt DC model railway?
A. Hi Robert. Thank you for your question. This switch can be used with a 12 VDC system - please note it is only a momentary action switch.

I've used these switches on my home-produced hedgecutter control box. One of them is in constant use as a thumb-switch and has probably served about 1200 hours; it's not failed yet. But when it does I have low-cost spares in stock for immediate replacement, rather than a trip to the dealer for expensive OEM spares. Keeps my running costs and down-time to a minimum.
