The E30-400-G uses the E30-400 24V 2.1hp motor but is also fitted with a 8.3:1 reduction chain drive gearbox.
These strong gearboxes give a huge amount of torque which is ideal for heavy duty robotics, motorised vehicles and automation applications.
The gearboxes are made using a three-piece CNC machined aluminium case. The mechanism comprises six sprockets, three roller chains and five bearings. The final sprocket and output shaft are made from a single piece of steel to maximise strength.
The motor and gearbox assembly can be mounted on a plate up to 10mm thick using the four 1/4-20 thread screws supplied.
