This photoelectric sensor is from the XUM0A general purpose series. This industry leading sensor is a high quality device that features a compact design and high build quality that make it ideal for use in industrial applications.

This multimode sensor has the facility to automatically change its operating configuration according to the required application, at just a press of the teach button. The sensor can operate in one of four modes:

IR Thru-beam
IR Diffuse
IR Diffuse with background suppression
Polarised reflex

The thru-beam mode will require a thru-beam transmitter (not supplied), and to use the polarised reflex mode a suitable reflector is required.
