A pipe clay triangle for supporting laboratory items being heated by a Bunsen burner or other heat source. It is made of wires strung in an equilateral triangle with three 50mm long hollow ceramic tubes. The triangle is usually supported on a tripod or iron ring and, in turn, supports a crucible, etc., allowing it to be directly heated by the flame.
