Q. Just wondering what the sound quality coming from the speakers will be like. If I play music through them will it sound good? or will it be noticeably bad?
A. Hi Robert, thank you for your question. These are a good quality amplifier and speaker kit and if assembled correctly and are used with a quality source such as a smart phone and the speakers are enclosed the results far exceeds the cost.

Q. Do you sell the power adaptor plug that goes with this product to power it through a mains?
A. Hi Craig, thank you for your question. This stereo amplifier kit is intended to be battery powered between 4.5V and 12V. Power is inputted to the PCB via a terminal block or jack socket. You could use a mains adaptor but they are prone to cause an audible background noise that you can hear.

A great kit. Bigger speakers that we expected. I purchased 2 of these projects for the two students we had on placement. As we work with electronics I wanted something that they could build that would be of interest to them and also give them some experience of what was involved in this area of work. They were both delighted with what they had produced and it worked brilliantly.
