Prowave SRM400 Sonar ranging module

This module is a sonar ranging device that will work with all Prowave PR or EP type transducers. The module includes the PW-0268 (35-1825) Ultrasonic Sonar Ranging IC and a 400EP14D (35-1760) 40kHz Air Ultrasonic Enclosed Pulse Transit transceiver. The feature set and performance of this device make it ideal for prototyping distance measuring systems such as vehicle reversing systems.

• High gain amplifier varies with time over 32 steps
• Integrated band pass filter reduces external component count
• Bi-direction I/O pin simplifies the control function for transmitting a pulse and receiving an echo
• Adjustables system clock enables the control of the number of pulses transmitted, the slope of the variable gain amplifier, and the pulse repetition rate
