The Novatek TR-101 is designed for monitoring the temperature of a device using up to 4 sensors which may be connected in two or three wire configuration. Temperatures are indicated on the unit's digital display. If a temperature moves out of the user-defined range, the TR-101 can trigger an alarm, ventilate the device or remove power from the device until the temperature returns to its acceptable range.
The TR-101 can be used for the protection of motors, generators, transformers and other devices prone to temperature related faults or failure modes.
- Universal power supply from 24 to 260V AC/DC
- Can use platinum, copper, nickel and other resistive thermal sensors 50 to 1000Ω e.g. Pt50, Pt100, Pt500, Pt1000, Cu50, Cu100, Ni100, Ni120, Ni500, Ni1000, PTC1000
- 4 sensor inputs
- 4 switching outputs
- Uses proportional-integral-differential (PID) principle
- Can transfer the sensor readings via Modbus RTU standard protocol
- Can detect breaks or a short circuits in sensor cables
- Can be programmed via front panel keys and via PC
- Settings backup when de-energized
- Settings protection from unauthorized change
- Novatek type TR-101
