Novatek PEF-301 Phase Inverter

The Novatek PEF-301 universal automatic electronic phase switch is designed to supply a single-phase 220V, 50Hz appliance from a three-phase, four-wire mains supply (3x 380+N) in order to maintain an uninterrupted power supply for essential single-phase equipment and protect it against unallowable voltage variations in the mains.

To this end, a single-phase load is connected to the three-phase mains via the PEF-301. According to voltage presence and quality on each of the 3 phases, the PEF-301 will automatically select the optimum phase and switch the single phase load supply to that phase. When voltage conditions on the original phase return to acceptable levels, the load will be switched back. Maximum and minimum acceptable voltage thresholds and the reset time delay to the original phase can be set by the user.

Equipment with a power rating less than 3.5kW (16A) can be connected directly to the outputs of the PEF-301. If the power requirement is more than 3.5kW (16A), the outputs of the PEF-301 can be used to control suitable high power contactors (not included) to connect the equipment to the optimum phase.
