Mighty Magnet 112 x 75 x 40mm

The Shaw Magnets Mighty Magnet is a large, very strong magnet complete with keeper and is ideal for applications where a high field strength is needed. It is ideal for experimenting with the construction of small motors and generators. The Mighty Magnet consists of powerful block magnets with mild steel pole pieces. The blocks are enamel coated for good resistance to chipping and the pole pieces have transverse 8mm dia. holes to accomodate auxiliary poles, rods, etc.
