This low noise adjustable LDO regulator from the Linear Technology LT1963 series is optimised for a fast transient response and can supply up to 1.5A of output current with a dropout voltage of just 340mV. With a low quiescent current and very low output voltage noise this device is ideal for battery-powered systems and for sensitive RF applications.
Additional features such as wide input voltage range, stable output and internal protection circuitry make these devices ideal for use in such applications as 3.3V to 2.5V logic power supplies and as a post regulator for switching supplies.
