Extended phonic code level 2, set 1 - 10 (set ' Viv Wails')

These books are for use by Reception and year 1 children, either progressing from Dandelion Readers Units 1 to 20 or as an additional resource in conjunction with any other phonic reading programme.

There are three levels in this series. Levels 1, 2 and 3 introduce the learners to the different spellings of a particular vowel sound.

Level 2 series, set 1-10, 'Viv Wails' comprises of 10 books, each with 2 - 3 spellings for the target vowel sound from the Extended Phonic Code, e.g. the second book 'Viv Wails' introduces the spelling <ai> for the sound 'ae'.

The books are compatible with 'Letters and Sounds' Phases 3 and 4. They can be used in any order and therefore with any phonic programme a school is teaching. (Please see also level 1 set 1 'The Mail' order code 98-1540 and level 3 set 1 'Jake, the Snake' order code 98-1544)
