The Di-Log Earth Resistance Tester 8986 simplifies ground testing and enables
non-intrusive leakage current measurement. The compact and rugged design makes
the Di-Log 8986 easy to use in small places and harsh environments.
The 8986 Earth tester can test the ability of soil and grounding connection
to conduct electricity and provide an electrical reference point. Good soil
conductivity is needed to limit static electricity charge in potentially
flammable situations and minimize the voltage difference between power return
and earth ground for personal safety. Resistance testing is done by 2-wire,
3-wire or 4-wire testing methods.
The Di-Log 8986 meets all the safety and performance requirements of BS EN
61557. Along with comprehensive features this RCD tester also provides user
friendly operation. Its single rotary dial enables simple function selection
while the LCD backlit display makes sure your data is clearly visible in even
the most dimly lit conditions.
The Di-Log Earth Resistance Tester is ideally suited to industrial. It is
supplied with 1x Earth resistance tester, Earth 2x test leads, 2x crocodile
clamps, 1x protective holster, 1x carrying case, 6x batteries 1.5V and an
instruction manual.
