ABUS TV8720 1.5km 2-Wire Transmission Set

The ABUS 1.5km 2-wire Transmission Set allows transmitting a video signal via a 2-core cable and consists of a transmitter module and a receiver module.

You connect the transmitter module to the video output of your camera, while besides analogue video signals, you can also transmit sound (audio). When connected with the screw terminals, you can also supply the camera with 12 VDC from the transmission set, while you can also connect the receiver module to the video input of your monitor.

This well designed set also allows two monitors to be connected, with an audio signal transmitted to one of the two monitors. The modules are connected by a twisted pair cable or an existing 2-core copper wire (e.g. a telephone cable), with a maximum distance between the two modules of 1500 meters.

Besides the audio and video signal, you can use this set to transmit an RS485 data signal and the signal of a switch contact. The transmitter module also has an alarm input and the receiver module an alarm output for this purpose - you can adjust the individual settings via DIP switches.
