Q. Hiya. Is the transmitter suitable for use as a dog repelent. If not can you sugest one which is.

A. Thanks for your enquiry Dave. Any ultrasonic transducer can be used for pest control applications, you will only need to drive it with the correct frequency (Something around 40khz would work).

We got theses by mistake (later calls showed that Rapid sent theses as the cheaper ones were not available at that time, they charged us £1.79 each, so we were happy) They are no different in operation than the open type 40kHz transducers. These look slicker, and are quite nicely made (shiny!). We used them in bat detectors and parking sensors. They worked very well.
