An IR receiver which provides two separate channel functions that work in either toggle or pulse mode. Non-volatile memory for settings make this kit a compact and versatile unit for remote control applications. An ideal project for those with some soldering experience.
Two channels with relay output
Channel and reception indication via LEDs
Toggle/pulse mode selection for each channel
Learn mode for channel ID
All settings permanently stored in EEPROM
Please note: This is a self-assembly kit and requires soldering.
Q. Can this receiver be positioned near a second so that they both will see the IR signal but be programmed to work with 4 different remote control buttons.
A. Hi Jeremy, thanks for your question.
This seems do-able in principle in that they can be physically located close together. But each one will only operate on two channels (lets call them A & B), it is not clear if these will be the same channels for both ie when they operate remote control one – channel A on both units will operate.
There may not be 4 different channel options such as A,B C & D, it is however possible to have a multitude of remotes all of which operate the one unit – ie they are all set to channel A
