Q. Does it matter which terminals attach to the leads on my generator?
Is there a positive or negative side?
Thanks
A. Hi Rich. Thank you for your question. As these are AC motor run capacitors they can not be polarised. So therefore there is no positive or negative connections.

Q. I have a small art studio airbrush air pump compressor, the Capacitor has quite literally blown-up and I need to replace it can you help?
The Old one has just two power connections one 'live' one 'neg.' it is in a black plastic outer. It was made in Denmark by a company called Tobias Jensen A/S. Kopenhagen.
Here are the details as shown on the case: 69uF. -20+60.220/275 Veff. 50Hz. AB 1,7% ED DIN 48501.
It measures 36mm Dia. x 100mm including it's terminal cap.
Can you help or do you need further info.
A. Hi Mike. Thank you for your question. The best we can offer in this case would be 10-2986 - this is not quite the correct value but should be enough to get the compressor working.
