<p>A range of K type flexible, mineral insulated thermocouples with a 0.5mm diameter for fast response. The thermocouples have a sheath that comes in a choice of material, 310 Stainless Steel or Inconel Alloy 600 and the sheath has an M8 x 1mm fine pitch threaded pot seal and tail. The single element junction is insulated from the sheath, giving protections against spurious signals. Termination is by 100mm long PFA twin-twisted 7/0.2mm tails.<br/><br/>
The 310 Stainless Steel sheaths exhibit good corrosion and oxidation resistance and satisfactorily operate in sulphur bearing atmospheres making them suitable for application such as brick and cement kilns, glass industry, heat treatment and annealing furnaces, power stations, flues, heat exchangers, etc.<br/><br/>
The sheaths manufactured from Inconel Alloy 600 have excellent oxidation resistance up to 1100°C (not suitable for sulphur bearing atmospheres above 550°C). Typical applications include heat treatment processes, annealing furnaces, chemical reactors, man-made fibre and synthetic material production, steam boilers, paper industry, etc.</p>
