One of the better colour-changing LEDs available. Operates on 4.5V, but Ive had them running quite well on as low as 2.6 volts - theyre pretty dim, but still running! "Cross-fading" (i.e. each colour fades into the next) colour sequence is approx. 4 seconds of the following colours:- Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Cyan, Magenta and finally White, then back to Red again and repeated. Really colourful. Note: providing the supply voltage does not exceed 4.5V, these LEDs reqire no current limiting series resistor, nor should one be used as the current drawn varies considerably with the colour displayed.

Simply an awsome component, I have found so many uses for this neat little opto and the list will go on and on, a fantastic product!!

Wow! Stunning, I haven't seen an LED like it in my life! And all encased in a tiny 5mm package! I replaced standard superbright red LEDs in a fibre optic lamp with these and it gives a great effect. Highly recommended to anyone that enjoys electronics!

Truly an amazing component, with the ability to make a range of different style mood lighting and I'm sure there's thousands of other uses for them!
