A. Hi Sheila, thank you for your question. It looks fairly simple to set up, see the instruction booklet. It looks to be all automatic set-up as it is radio controlled and links with an outdoor sensor.

Bought to replace failed Oregon unit, excellent unit, better display than the unit it replaced and better wireless range for remote temperature sensor which is located in an annex, line of sight through 4/5 brick walls. Would recommend.

Does everything we wanted, at one third the cost.
Watch the batteries, It won't put up with batteries that are not brand new.
Ideal for checking greenhouse temperature

With the sensor in the greenhouse, you can see at a glance what the temperature is from the comfort of your armchair. Brilliant for checking the greenhouse temperature on frosty nights - no need to wander down the garden path in the dark! The Max. Min. display is very useful too.
