The TracoPower TSR 3-0533 is a 3A DC/DC Converter from the TSR-3 Series. This converter is a non isolated step down switching regulator that can also be operated with a negative output voltage.
The converter is supplied in a very compact open frame package of 15.5 x 9.4 x 6.2mm. The high efficiency of up to 95% admits a full load operation up to 50°C and up to 85°C with 50% current reduction. It also has a low standby current and a wide input range. As the converter does not need a heatsink, this gives it a significant advantage over linear regulators.
Together with a remote On/Off input and protection against short circuit and over temperature this converter is the ideal load regulator for high reliable and energy critical applications.
