TruConnect 10A 3.5mm Terminal Blocks

<p>If you mount terminal blocks on PCBs we can probably help you with our fine selection of terminal blocks. Rapid is pleased to offer you these 2, 3 and 5-way 3.5mm pitch vertical moulded types that are UL94V-0 approved. <BR/><BR/> Current carrying capacity of these pluggable terminal blocks is 10A per pole. They feature a tin-plated pin header and a Phosphor bronze wire guard. The terminals are housed in moulded green flame proof polyamide PA66.</p>

Q. Are these available in 4 or 8 way ? this particular connector seems to withstand reflow quite nicely where many of the others melt.

A. Hi Chris, thank you for your question. These are the only ways we list 2,3 and 5 but as these are pluggable you can make up 4 way with 2 x 2 way and 8 way with a 3 and 5 way.

Q. which PCB or similar punched board is suitable for these 3.5 mm connectors

A. Hi Norman. Thank you for your question. All of our strip board has a 2.54mm (0.1") pitch so is not suitable for these connectors you would need to have a drilled PCB made to spec. You can use every other hole in a standard strip board to utilise a 5.08mm terminal block like 21-0442.
