A. Hi Michael. Thank you for your question. These are a fixed temperature mains powered soldering iron to keep with Antex you will need a station and iron to have temperature control like 85-4750.
Q. Does the iron have the heat free silicone power lead.
A. Hi SJ. Thank you for your question. The silicone cable version of this iron is available on 85-1145.
For a few weeks now i have been searching for a decent soldering iron. In my college we use Antex Soldering irons and could not find a great price elsewhere. Came to Rapid and saw that this soldering iron comes in many different types. I thought i would take a gamble with the PVC cable soldering iron. This product is very good compared to the price, plus it does the job well. There may be better soldering irons out on the market, but to me i would recommend this soldering iron to anyone!
