This SMFS monocrystalline spherical solar cell 0.5V 1.5A from Sol Expert is a very flexible panel which can be bent into different shapes, making it perfect for your own ideas, self-assembly models or simply to experiment with. This version comes with a RF300 solar motor.

The minimum bending radius is 25mm, while the crystalline cell material has an efficiency of up to 12%, ensuring 0.5V at 1.5A with a panel size of just 170 x 53.5mm. The solar panels can be connected in series or in parallel.

Q. how long would it take to charge a AAA battery?

A. Hi, thank you for your question. You would need at least 3 of these in series (49-3374 as 49-3375 includes a motor) to achieve the necessary voltage (1.5V) to charge a rechargeable AAA battery at 1.2V but at 1.5A should only take circa 1-2 hours depending on light intensity and the actual battery capacity/condition.
