directions all night - and quite often all day too. It wastes power, spoils the
night sky, and often doesn't even provide good lighting where you really need it

MLW99 60W Night Eye PIR Bulkhead Light is different.
The Timeguard MLW99 60W Night Eye has a tough polycarbonate cowl and is
designed to function as a partial cut-off light, reducing the amount of light
shining upwards, and concentrating light downwards. The opal polycarbonate shade
diffuses the bulbs light enough to spread it evenly where you need it for
security and safety, and stops eye watering and confusing dazzle.
The unit utilises passive infrared technology to detect heat radiation of
moving human bodies. Upon detection, the lamp will illuminate for a
user-determined time period. An integral daylight sensor ensures night-only
operation.
