Q. Have you any sample circuits this device can be used in. I am trying to establish what sort of drive circuit is needed

Q. Which is the positive side and negative leg? is it polarized?

A. Hi Justin. Thank you for your question. The positive leg is the pin which is slightly longer.

Q. Would this be suitable as part of a Bat detector circuit? Bats emit Ultrasonic noises upto 99Khz but many are 25Khz - 60 Khz.

A. The bandwidth for this product is only 2KHz so in reality 38KHz to 42KHZ which is quite narrow for your purposes, I would also have doubts regarding its sensitivity to the level of reception from the bats. I'm afraid we can't offer anything which would be ideal for you.
