Q. do you have to program it to turn left and right?

A. Hi Robert, thank you for your question. This would need to be programmed unless a transmitter and receiver are being used to remote control it.

Q. Can a servo Y-3009 turn over 180°?

A. Hi Sven. Thank you for your question. This mini servo will only do 180 degrees, not any more.

Small, light but powerful

I bought this to fit in a radio control conversion to the Italeri 1/35 scale model of a Vosper 70' MTB. Intended for the rudder control. Although the hull is quite roomy it is not big enough to take standard size servos. This mini sized servo is powerful enough to move the rudder easily and takes up very space and is very light. Very competitively priced it has performed well enough for me to consider undertaking another conversion in due course.
