These Forgefix Window Frame Anchors are designed specifically to suit most window and door PVCu and aluminium profiles. The Nylon plugs have a glass fibre reinforced wedge that allows increased holding power and longer life. The Screw is Zinc Yellow Passivated for increased resistance to corrosion. The anchors are through-fixing, for ease and speed of installation. Each is supplied complete with a cover cap that fits into the screw head. Twin wedges on the sleeve ensure a secure grip in PVCu, or aluminium window and door profiles. The Zinc Yellow Passivation process of electroplating is similar to the ‘Galvanised’ and ‘Zinc Plated’ processes but with the addition of a yellow dye. It provides a coating that is aesthetically pleasing, and which offers excellent resistance to corrosion.
