A Darlington output optocoupler which consists of an infrared LED optically coupled to an NPN silicon photo Darlington. Low current, high current transfer ratio, high isolation voltage. Suitable for telephone ring detector, digital logic ground isolation, low input current line receiver, level shifting, interfacing between logic families, and line voltage status indicators.
