The eQ-3 MAX! Remote Control is a user-friendly device for changing the temperature in a room. The remote control has been pre-programmed (taught-in) to a wall thermostat or a radio energy-saving controller for the radiators. These system components can then receive commands from the remote control and implement them.

An integrated temperature sensor also detects the current ambient temperature, which can be seen on the remote control's display. The remote control can be used to perform two types of operation: Implementing a relative temperature change (up or down) and Switching to the programmed comfort temperature.

Q. 1. Tell me please if this unit will work on all the wall sensors or thermostat heads in range or only with a dedicated one of them? 2. If I have 3 rooms upstairs and I use this unit, can I set different temperatures in each room or it will set all of them at the same temperature? 3. Which is its working range?

A. Hi Michael, thank you for your question. The remote control can be programmed to be used with as many wall thermostats and radiators as required, but the remote needs to first be programmed to remember all the units.

Q. Would this work without the room thermostat, Just the Cube and the rad valve

A. Hi David, thank you for your question. The remote control does appear to be able to control the wireless radiator thermostats, without the need for the wall thermostat.

Q. Does this unit function with the Cube Lan Gateway?

A. Hi Tony, thank you for your question. This works in conjunction with a wireless room thermostat which in turn connects to the cube LAN gateway.
