The Wi-Fi module is without doubt one of the most advanced and innovative elements of the Edu-Logger system.
Measurements with Edu-Logger sensors can be performed through any device which uses Wi-Fi technology, such as iPads and tablets with Android, mobile phones, PC computers with Windows/Linux or Macs with OS. These can all communicate with the Wi-Fi adaptor to begin a unique experience of data acquisition.
There is no need for any application download or software installation to take advantage of all the power of Edu-Logger sensors through the Wi-Fi module because the software runs on the module - not on the users tablet, phone or PC.
The module allows a Teacher to control the experiment whilst allowing students to view and manipulate the data themselves. The control of the experiment can be handed over to a chosen user so that they in turn can carry out and control the experiment.
- Connect to a sensor or chain of sensors
- Connect a battery module to the end of the chain
- The Wi-Fi module generates its own wireless network which you can connect to with any Wi-Fi device that has a web browser
