This rack mount programmable PSU 160V 170A from EA Elektro-Automatik is a state-of-the-art high quality power supply, which comes supplied in 19in rack housing and 3U height.

The output terminal is located in the rear panel, while also equipped with a flexible auto-ranging output stage to provide a higher output voltage by reduced output current, or a higher output current by reduced output voltage, always regulated by the maximum output power - therefore, a wide application spectrum can already be covered by one unit.

All of the important information is clearly visualised on a crystal-clear matrix display. Information about the actual output values, preset set values for U, I, P, over and undervoltage protection, the actual control state (CV,CC,CP), errors and settings of the setup menu are all clearly displayed. In order to simplify adjustment of values by the featured rotary knobs, it can be switched between coarse and fine setting mode by just a key stroke.

All these features contribute to an operator-friendliness. With a lock button, the controls can be locked to protect the equipment and load from unintentional misuse. There are also terminals for Sharebus operation available on the rear panel, thus the device can be integrated into a complete system without much effort.

For remote control, the device by default features an internal analogue interface, which is not galvanically isolated. Alternatively, it can be monitored and controlled by various digital and retrofittable interfaces.
