Q. The technical description for the 'DPCO' relay types shows two sets of contacts - one NO and one NC - i.e. DPST. I realise that DPST usually consists of two NO contacts which close when the coil is energised, but labelling them as change-over is misleading. Is this a mistake, or am I interpreting the data incorrectly?
A. Hi Grim. Thank you for your question. This description comes from Panasonic, however we have tested one and we would class the dual coil latching with the switching contacts as SPST-NO, SPST-NC. I hope this clears this up for you.
