A TFT backlit LCD screen that has headers that fit into the socket on an Arduino Esplora or Robot. The screen is also compatible with other AVR-based Arduino boards such as the Uno, Leonardo, etc., or the Arduino Due. The screen can be used to display text, images and shapes using the TFT Library and there is an onboard microSD card slot on the back of the screen that can be used for storage.

Q. What libraries are available for this screen

A. Hi Pete. Thank you for your question. The libraries build into the background are all the detailed information for a shield to work. This then allows the programmer to use simple commands to generate functionality. Our advice would be for you to download the latest Arduino IDE. We have version 1.5.5-r2 and this already has the TFT libraries included. See here. Another option is to have a quick look on this page as there are some libraries available for download separately.
