Strong colour, great fun to use -wonderful results

These water-based powdered paints come in a great range of colours and can produce exciting art quickly and easily. Their dense pigments give bold colours for strong colourful work - however if used dilute they can be as versatile as watercolour. I prefer to use them in powdered form for a background, carefully sprinkling onto wetted canvas or paper, very free-form - each work will be unique! As the powder hits the dampened surface, the colour bursts forth, mixing, merging with other colours that you sprinkle in. Then you can treat it like a silk painting & go for other effects - sprinkle salt & it will take in the pigment giving a delicate effect. There is so much you can do with these. I would advise that you cover any work surface to protect from wild sprinkling enthusiasm!!
