The Velleman Audio Power Amplifier Kit 2 x 30W is a small amplifier constructed with the TDA2616 IC and a maximum supply capability of 2 x 15Wrms (4 ohm) of 2 x 10Wrms (8 ohm). The IC is protected against overheating and short circuits. Additional rectifier and smoothing filter are unnecessary because alternating current can be connected directly with the unit.

This little pcb assembly is very simple to put together, minimal testing and packs a huge punch of sound with almost no distortion to speak of.
Very good product, keenly prices and does exactly what is is designed to do.

Excellent sounding kit, worthy of the Hi-Fi tag. My choice of additional components: Clairtronic 50VA 2x12v toroid transformer Alps 50k dual pot 2x Denon 6ohm speakers
