The Dino-Lite Pro2 series of digital hand-held microscopes have magnification levels of 20 to 90x and feature a long working distance that makes it easy to work in or around the object, carrying out precision assembly and repairs. A built-in polariser is provided that cuts out unwanted reflections from shiny objects such as metal and gemstones. This microscope has full aluminium alloy metal body that gives robust performance and good looks. To enhance the capabilities of this microscope it is possible to change the end caps, being supplied with both an open and a closed cap. 8x White LEDs are used to illuminate the object giving low-light sensitivity and a high quality and detailed image with accurate colour reproduction. A set of software, compatible with Windows or Mac OS, is provided that gives the ability to save images and videos, make time lapse recordings and perform calibrated measurements. Output is in the form of either images, video or time-lapse video, allowing the instrument to be used for a very wide variety of tasks.
