Q. Hello there could this product be used in a circuit that is 4.2v with 3 amps of current? I have a limited knowledge of electrics /electronics, and need something like this to use in caving lamp i have manufactured to stop it overheating if left on accidentally in a kit bag etc. Thanks in advance for any help. John.

A. Hi John, these thermal switches are rated up to 2.5 amps. You may get away with using this for that purpose, however the switch may fail earlier than expected.
