26 April 2012 Question by: Rapid Customer | Product code: 61-1362
Q. i also need float switches to turn a pump on and off in the same tank. one to turn the pump on at low level linked to another float to turn the pump off when tank full.basically to stop pump running every few minutes.do i need to run this through a small contactor/relay? i am presuming i do. thanks in anticipation of your answer.
A. Thanks for your enquiry Stuart. The circuit would require either 1 or 2 small relays dependent on the current draw and how the circuit is wired up, it shouldn't require a contactor but can depend on the current draw.

17 April 2012 Question by: Rapid Customer | Product code: 61-1362
Q. hi i need a float switch that when the water level is high and the float is in the up position there is no current (pump off) and when the water level drop and the float is in the down position the current is on (pump on) do u have one?
A. Hi Jay, thanks for your question. This product will do it, as it can be changed from normally open to normally closed by rotating the device 180Deg. But in one condition the unit would have to end up being submerged to lift the float to turn it off.
