Fastrax APU501 Application Board

Fastrax has developed this application boards for use with the Mini Evaluation kit. The application board is connected to the kit using the on-board 40-pin system connector. The application board is also equipped with an MCX antenna connector for the external active antenna.

The application board is based on the Fastrax UP501 GPS receiver module with embedded GPS antenna enables high performance navigation in the most stringent applications and solid fix even in harsh GPS visibility environments. The device is ideally suited for navigation systems, asset tracking devices and battery operated consumer products like personal navigation devices, handheld computers, cameras, and sports accessories. The Fastrax UP501 is also an ideal receiver for GPS mouse applications, due to its compact design and easy interfacing.
