Q. Is this switch suitable to close when the heating pipes in a fan radiator are say 30 degrees and stay on whilst the water is above 30 deg but when the water goes below 30 deg it will switch the fan off. Thus keeping the fan on as long as the water is capable of giving out heat but stopping the fan when the water is colder than the set (open temp) working on 230v mains
A. Hi M B Hayes. Thank you for your question. The principle is reasonable – but 26-7410 is probably a better choice – it will open the circuit at approx 25Deg C – closing again at 40 Degree but this may be too large a temperature gap. We don’t currently list one that works to a smaller temp range.
