QThe 5V supply is rated to 5A, yet you recommend a plug with a 3A fuse, is this correct?
AHi Ben. Thank you for your question. This is perfectly normal as a 5V DC output is at 5 amps but the AC input is between 90-264V and no more than 1 amp so a 3 amp mains fuse is fine.

Perfect for Raspberry Pi when more power is needed

This PSU powers my Raspberry Pi and a USB hard disk via a simple 5 volts splitter cable that I made. Most laptop-type disks drives want a bit more power than the Pi can deliver through its USB ports, so I used an external USB HDD enclosure (CIT) that has an extra power input on it. The Pi can use the disk happily, with plenty of power left over for other peripherals. I'm really happy with the result.
