This rechargeable lithium battery is designed for use with the NXT intelligent brick.

This new battery (70-8540, LEGO type 9693) can be used in all LEGO applications in place of the old battery (70-1262, LEGO type 9798).
However the new battery (70-8540, LEGO type 9693) MUST ONLY BE USED WITH THE NEW CHARGER (70-8538, LEGO type 8887).
