Antex XG07520 75W Soldering Iron (GasCat)

The Antex 75W Soldering Iron (GasCat) is a compact, butane gas powered, soldering iron producing adjustable heating power equivalent to a 60W electrically powered iron.

• Ideal for use where mains power is unavailable, and where other irons do not produce enough heat output
• Applications include heavy-duty soldering, localised brazing, heat shrink tubing, leadwork repairs, cutting and sealing nylon rope
• The tough nylon body contains a gas reservoir which can hold sufficient fuel for approximately 1 hours continuous use before refilling
• Tip temperature is variable, and is regulated by the nylon gas flow adjuster at the base of the unit
• The iron is available separately with a 2.4mm chisel tip fitted
• In kit form the iron is fitted with a hot air tip
• Also supplied in the convenient plastic carry-case are a soldering tip, hot knife tip, flame tip, hot air tip and a tip cleaning sponge
• Supplied without gas
